Irritable Bowel - This can be a life changing condition that places a barrier on your lifestyle.
The Disruptive Effects
When a person's bowel becomes highly irritable by the slightest amounts of stress, this can quickly effect your mood, lifestyle and outlook on life. Digestive problems is one of the most frequently discussed issues with physicians.
When someone is having problems with either their digestion or their bowels, it can severely affect almost every aspect of a person. The foods consumed may not be properly absorbed by the body and the body can then slowly start to deteroriate due to the lack of nutrients.
Do Not Follow the Avoidance Technique
Other problems that people have when their bowel becomes irritable, is that they tend to avoid foods altogether. They only eat small amounts of food when they become hungry, simply for the reason of survival. This is due to the fact that they do not want to endure the extremely frustrating symptoms of IBS.
Symptoms of IBS often flare up if the wrong foods are consumed. What is comprised in a person's diet can severely change the outcome of how a person feels that day. You may wonder what foods are compatible with your body.
Determine the Tolerant Foods
There are several tests available, one of them is a food allergy test conducted by a physician, however these are very generic and often useless. Another is with an alternative health care provider and these types of test involves a blood test rather than an injection in the arm. These private type of tests are highly useful as a report will be provided to you to detail the foods that you are intolerant to. There is a high fee involved in this test however.
The most economical way however, is to write down the foods that you consume on a daily basis and also note the symptoms. After a month, you should be able to note patterns in your symptoms due to specific foods that you consumed.
