Dinner IBS Recipe Six




This Dinner IBS Recipe Six is a delightful IBS friendly diet to be served on the sixth day of the 1st week.


Pork Tenderloin with Creamy Apple Cider Sauce - Serves 1

IBS Pork Tenderloin with Creamy Apple Cider Sauce Dinner



Ingredients:

1/2 tablespoon butter, divided
1/2 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 pound pork tenderloin, sliced into thick medallions
Salt and freshly ground black pepper; to taste
1/4 cup apple cider
2 tablespoons heavy cream
1 chicken bouillon cube, crushed
1/3 apple, peeled and diced
1 tablespoon boysenberry jam



Preparation:

Pre-heat a small skillet over med-high heat. Add the butter and olive oil. Wait until butter is melted. Season the pork medallions with salt & pepper. Place the pork medallions into the pan. Cook until light brown on each side. Set aside on a plate and cover with foil. Add the apple cider to the pan and bring to a boil. Add the cream and bouillon powder. Whisk the mixture. Add the pork medallions to the pan. Cook in sauce for about 8-10 minutes. Add the remainder of the butter and wait until melted. Add the apple dices. Stir in the boysenberry jam. Season with additional salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
