Now lets take a look at the top 3 Irritable Bowel Syndrome symptoms:

1. Constipation:

Having this problem can be literally painful within the gut region. It is very unhealthly for individuals to live with this issue since stool is not meant to be kept in the bowel for a pro-longed duration. Once the vitamins and minerals have been absorbed within the body, the food turns into waste and should be excreted.

The stool should be removed from one's system only when it has been properly formed. If the food is immediately expelled in liquid form, this would be considered diarrhea. Constipation happens when the bowel is moving far too slowly.

2. Diarrhea:

This is a very common IBS symptom amongst many sufferers. This is caused by the intestine moving too quickly causing the food to be expelled before it is properly formed.

One would feel restricted to stay within an area that has a washroom nearby. There always exists the need to think ahead to ensure that a toilet is available upon a second's notice when nature calls. 3. Stomach Bloating and Gas:

Almost all sufferers have this problem to a certain extent. It can be strong pressure within the stomach area or it can simply be gas moving about. Gas is usually detected by stomach noise or some uncomfort within the gut region.

Bloating occurs when undigested particles of food reaches your small intestines. This area of the gut contains gas-producing bacteria. The gas can be formed shortly after a meal or it can exists long after the food intake.

In fact, gas and noise can exist at any point in time, non-coherent to when the meal was taken. Many times the bloating can be present immediately after and/or during a mentally and/or physically stressful event. This is the result of spasmodic movement of the intestines.
