IBS and Chronic Constipation – this is a debilitating symptom that can be reversed with a few tips provided.
The Sewer Effect
It is not easy to deal with chronic constipation as it can lead to stomach pains, bloating and lots of gas. When the body has a hard time excreting bodily waste from the body, the waste can start to expel toxins back to the body which can slowly deteriorate one’s health over a longer period of time.
The largest change that you would need to make, is a change to your daily diet. Try to include enough fiber into your diet such as brown rice, fresh peas, etc. The recipes provided here will help to set you on the right path.
Benefits of Fiber and Fluids
Most importantly, ensure that you add soluble and insoluble fiber into your diet. This will ensure that the stool is soft and bulky enough to pass easily through your colon. To learn more about fiber, view here.
Secondly, drink lots of water as this will help to keep your body fully hydrated to prevent your body and stools from drying out. It is recommended to drink at least eight glasses of water per day.
Also try to exercise at least two times a week at a minmum, with each exercise lasting at least 30 minutes. This will ensure that your organs are running strong and optimally, which will keep your intestinal rhythm of contractions smooth and continuous.
Always contact a qualified physician before beginning any type of health program.
